Weyms’s Lodge is a beautiful purpose built lodge. Our residents tell us through their surveys’ that they feel happy and they feel they are given choice. Residents say the staff know their health needs, personal wishes and rate staff as being outstanding for their care. Family and residents friends tell us through their feedback; ” The manager has gone above and beyond to support family. With the well being of the residents (Nan) at the centre of the decisions made and actions taken..” “My friend is always pleased to see me…encouraged to do things, if he wants to…I am so grateful for the help and care he receives”.

We provide our residents with the best possible quality of life in an environment which is welcoming, compassionate and empowering. Our lodge is beautifully clean and comfortable. We are responsive to the changing needs of our residents. We have a weekly GP visit and have great relationships with the local multidisciplinary teams and service providers.

Registration

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide care for up to 60 older adults. Their latest report, published 10 January 2018, can be viewed and downloaded from their website www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-114119745 or we can provide a copy.

Our quality management system

We provide person centred compassionate care developed in partnership with our residents. We are committed to building positive relationships with our residents family and friends, and supporting them to continue to take an active role in their loved ones life, building a culture of transparency and inclusivity. We have recently invested in a fantastic IT Care Management System which will enable family to be completely engaged. We are proud of our service and continue to follow best practice guidance.

Staff were welcoming, the home was inviting with lots of areas of interest such as the candy cart and Chinese decorations. Residents appeared happy and well cared for.
