Weymss Lodge is a “home from home” where our residents can feel safe in a friendly, secure and relaxed environment. We strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of our residents and remain sensitive to each person’s ever-changing needs.
We aim to provide our residents with the best possible quality of life in an environment which is clean, comfortable, safe and welcoming. We will treat each resident with dignity and respect and be sensitive to his/her individual needs and preferences.
Our staff team
We have an excellent team of specialist professional care staff to look after you, who are ably supported by the home’s management team. Our staff team includes Qualified Nurses, Care Assistants, Cooks, Kitchen Assistants, Housekeepers and Administrative Support. All are highly trained in their respective skills. Each staff member wears an appropriate uniform so that he / she will be easily identifiable.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide care for up to 60 elderly residents. Their latest report, published 10 January 2018, can be viewed and downloaded from their website www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-114119745 or we can provide a copy. Rating: Good
Our quality management system
We aim to deliver person centred care which is individual and supportive to our residents’ needs. We have recently invested in a new recording and quality monitoring system. All areas are monitored and evaluated by our quality management systems so we achieve our commitment to excellence.
